Join us for a fun-filled Slavic Park Day & Potluck! This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food, build friendships, and spend time together as a church family in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Bring your favorite dish to share, along with your lawn chairs or blankets, and come ready for an afternoon of fellowship, laughter, games, and connection. Whether you're new to our slavic church or have been attending for years, everyone is welcome—we'd love to spend the day with you!
We look forward to making memories together. Invite your family and friends, and we'll see you at the park!

This will be a great opportunity to get to know your church family better. We will have a lot of fun, worship God, and eat yummy food!
When: Friday, August 7 – Monday, August 10, 2026
Where: Porcupine Springs, South Hills
Cost: $30/tent space (max one large tent or two smaller. If you have more, you need to pay for 2 tent spaces.)
$60/RV space
IMPORTANT NOTE: Prices are for one family unit. If you are coming with extended family/friends and staying in same site, EACH family unit must register and pay.The money also covers food and supplies that the church is providing, not just the campsite.
Day camping is free.
We expect to be full this year. EVERYONE should plan on sharing campsites with others.
Schedule & Activities:
Friday, we will begin check-in at 2pm (please no early arrivals). We will gather for a S'mores Party around 8pm at the Loop A Group Area to kick off the weekend. Bring s'mores to share. Please try to arrive prior to that if joining us Friday night.
Saturday morning at 9am, we will enjoy a pancake breakfast together. The church will provide the pancakes. We will be asking you to bring the rest. We will ask you to bring something specific once you have registered (i.e. pound of butter, fruit, or pound of bacon).
We will have organized activities/games on Saturday:
Water Balloon War
At 630pm, we will have a “potluck” camp dinner together. The church will provide pulled pork by Chef James Jackson. Please bring your own drinks, as well as a larger side dish and/or dessert to share.
After dinner Saturday, around 830pm, we will gather for campfire songs/worship. At 10pm, the teens & young adults will have their own campfire and activities at a separate campfire location.
Sunday morning, we will have devotionals together at 10:30am. Kids 11 and under will have "church" at this time at a separate campsite.
We will have a few organized activities/games on Sunday afternoon:
Horseshoes & Cornhole available anytime at the "pit"
We will gather again at 8pm for a testimony service and worship around the campfire.
Monday, we will pack up and be out by 11am.
Other Details:
COUPLES: We love couples. We ask that no unmarried couples occupy the same tent/camper.
Available amenities:
We will not be providing any of these activities corporately. This is on your own time and with your own gear:

Whether you're a longtime member or joining us for the first time, we'd love to have you with us. Come as you are, enjoy the fresh air, let the kids play, and leave encouraged by sweet fellowship and new friendships.
